Youraj Koirala is an attorney in Capozzi Adler’s litigation practice, where he represents clients in civil matters with an emphasis on creditor rights and regulatory practice & enforcement group. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Koirala gained substantive experience at ICBC Standard Bank, Panasonic North America, and Cerberus Capital Management, supporting high-value transactions and regulatory matters involving the SEC, CFTC, and FINRA.
Mr. Koirala earned his B.A. from Texas Tech University in 2022, from which he graduated Magna Cum Laude. There he majored in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy. Mr. Koirala obtained his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2025. While in law school, he helped developing start-up ventures as part of the Brooklyn Law Incubator & Policy Clinic. Mr. Koirala was also involved in the South Asian Law Students Association, Brooklyn Entertainment & Sports Law Society, and the Brooklyn Business Law Association.
Born in a refugee camp in Southeastern Nepal, Mr. Koirala is deeply involved with the Bhutanese Nepali community of Pennsylvania. Currently, he serves on the board of directors of the Bhutanese Community in Harrisburg, which represents over 40,000 Bhutanese and Nepali families in Central Pennsylvania.
