About Us

Our History

On June 11, 1997, our firm was founded as Capozzi & Associates, P.C. with the mission of meeting the legal needs of health care providers – particularly long-term care providers. On January 1, 2010, we became, Capozzi Adler, P.C.

Since our founding, we have grown to employ a dedicated team of attorneys, paralegals and support staff, establishing our firm as one of the major law firms in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. We also enjoy a strong Mid-Atlantic regional presence, as well as a growing national reputation for expertise in delivering a variety of legal services to health care providers. Capozzi Adler, P.C. serves the legal needs of healthcare and senior living providers that participate in the Medicaid and Medicare programs. Capozzi Adler, P.C.’s services include: regulatory compliance & licensure, collections and Medicaid eligibility, CCRC licensure, admission agreements, guardianships, nursing facility sales & acquisitions, real estate & property law, employment law & labor law, civil & commercial litigation, criminal defense, ERISA litigation and Medicaid/ Medicare reimbursement appeals. Capozzi Adler also provides an array of legal services to non-healthcare providers in a number of states. With an already impressive track record of expansion and growth, we look forward to providing the same quality service to our clients as we have done for over two decades.

Our firm sponsored the Robert P. Casey Distinguished Lecture in Health Law for the Annual Health Law Lecture Series 2002 at the Widener University School of Law. As the 2002 recipient of The Honorable Clarence C. Morrison Equal Professional Opportunity Award from the Dauphin County (Pennsylvania) Bar Association, we were recognized for our significant contributions to the advancement of equal professional opportunities for members of the Dauphin County Bar Association.

Of course, the primary identity of Capozzi Adler is our commitment to our clients. Our firm’s continuing development as a full service law firm would not be possible without the full support of our clients, the quality work of our attorneys, and the dedication of our administrative staff. With that in mind we commit to providing the best quality legal services at the most affordable price, while providing proactive and practical business advice.

“I have known and worked with Capozzi Adler since the law firm started. I very much enjoy working with Lou Capozzi and the others. The Attorneys are concerned, intelligent, and hard-working. Whenever we have complex legal issues, Capozzi & Associates gets a call and the results are always exceptional. As the health care business has continued to change and become more complex, my experience is that Lou Capozzi has always retained a commitment to excellence.”
