Background
Bruce G. Baron earned his law degree from the Rutgers-Camden School of Law. Mr. Baron also has a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from Harvard University and his Master’s degree in History from the University of Pennsylvania. His practice focuses on long term care policy, nursing facility reimbursement, resident eligibility issues and appeals, regulatory compliance, acquisitions, and employment and contract litigation.

Mr. Baron worked for ten years at a federally funded education research laboratory in Philadelphia on curriculum
development in social studies education, school-to-work programs, and grant administration. Mr. Baron also worked for eleven years at the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare (now DHS), in Medicaid program enforcement, nursing home reimbursement and public contract litigation matters, with special assignments including implementation of Nursing Home Reform Law requirements and development of the Medicaid provider claims processing and eligibility information systems (MAMIS and CIS). From 1990 to 1997, prior to joining Capozzi Adler, P.C., Mr. Baron worked as an independent research and reimbursement consultant for attorneys, accountants, and Pennsylvania nursing homes where he specialized in Medicaid related matters, including the development of bridge financing for nursing facilities during a State Budget lapse.
